No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
Bharata & Mandavi (Bill & Denise Barry) will offer this Vedic Ceremony invoking Divine Mother Lakshmi’s blessings of abundance on all levels in our lives. Attendees will have several options of participation in the puja, including group mantras.
Pujas are a form of religious ceremony performed according to precise procedures found in ancient Vedic scriptures. Mantras, hymns, prayers and invocations are chanted in ancient Sanskrit, often called the language of the gods. These ceremonies are performed to seek Divine assistance for all of life’s needs including the resolution of karma and attainment of spiritual blessings. Tonight’s ceremony is a Shodashopachara (16 component) classical form of puja. Attendees have several options of participation in puja, including group mantras.
You may bring items such as statues (murtis), jewelry, photographs, etc. to be blessed during the puja. Wearing white clothing is traditional but not required.
Please note: No one will be turned away for lack of funds and pre registration is NOT required (although always appreciated!) if you plan to ONLY attend the puja. We will happily accept your donation from the heart at the door. We hope you’ll join us for this special evening!
