Monica Holbrook discovered the practice of yoga when she was pregnant with her daughter in 1997. Yoga was the beginning of her quest to get healthy. She lost 38 lbs. and began to eat healthier. She discovered quickly that yoga benefits more than just the physical body. She learned thru her yoga practice breathing techniques to help cope with extreme Anxiety Disorder, eliminating the need for medication.
Her love of yoga and desire to share the experience with others inspired her to complete her 200 hour teacher training in 2006 at Frog Lotus Yoga in North Adams, MA. Monica enjoys guiding students on a journey of their mind, body and spirit. She focuses on anatomy and alignment in the poses as well as the therapeutic benefits students receive in each pose. Monica enjoys teaching styles such as Gentle Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative, Hatha, Beginner, Moderate and more.
