Please join the Forever Yoga community for a FUNdraising Saturday offered by 2018 class of Teacher Trainees! These amazing women have been working very hard over the last 8 months and are now ready to offer their first public classes. These heartfelt offerings are in support of NuDay Syria, a choice made by the trainees themselves and near and dear to them. 100% of the funds raised during this event will be donated to the cause. Should you be unable to attend and would still like to make a donation, it will be gratefully accepted.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Schedule of Classes and Descriptions
1:30-2:30pm Gentle Breath, Gentle Body, Gentle Mind with Deborah Heller We all possess the gift of breath. It nourishes our bodies and calms our minds. In this class, we will explore the ways in which the breath can be utilized to enhance our physical yoga practice, and to improve our ability to focus on the present moment, both on the mat and as we go forth into our daily lives. Gentle vinyasa flow will combine with exploration of some Pranayama breathing methods that support breath awareness and balance energy, in a practice suitable for all levels.
3:00-4:00pm Uncover and Renew with Colleen Forrest Just as the spring is a time for the earth to uncover and renew, to begin again, our yoga practice can be this opportunity for us as well. For us to rediscover and uncover what is already there. In this series of postures, we will flow through our sequence, using the breath as our guide to relax, to open, to strengthen and balance with the asanas we will explore. This is a gentle class, good for everybody, moving with ease into a final relaxation where your body will surely benefit from its practice.
4:30-5:30pm Rediscovery Flow with Iris Waitt As our minds and bodies reawaken this spring we have an excellent opportunity to allow ourselves to become more inquisitive in our practice and to reinvigorate our presence in each moment. This all-levels class will emphasize mindful, flowing sequences coupled with intentional pauses to heighten student’s awareness of their bodies and minds as they explore each pose. Special attention will be given to connecting the breath with movement, as well as cultivating it’s rhythm in moments of stillness. This focus will give plenty of time for students to follow their curiosity, and to expand their experience in even the most familiar postures. Modifications are encouraged and will be offered throughout the class.
