Join Forever Yoga owner Jessica Lang Wright and health coach Laurie Gouley for an evening of considering self-care through mindful eating! What we take in, in all forms, contributes to our overall health and wellness. Food tends to be seen by many as the most difficult aspect of health. The daily need for food makes making good choices a continual and often overwhelming process. In this workshop you’ll find some ideas that may contribute to a more mindful approach to your daily food choices through the lens of yoga, Ayurveda and modern science.
Jessica will offer yogic and Ayurvedic based ideas about making good choices in consideration of your personal Ayurvedic constitution, seasonality and yoga philosophy concerning food. This wisdom is centuries old and still holds true in our modern environment. Laurie will bring modern exercise and food science to the table, offering ideas for daily meal plans, the 6 components of health and balancing a healthy diet. This modern wisdom has contributed to her own health transformation and that of her many clients. At the end of the workshop, we’ll bring it all together as Jessica will guide a food meditation that is sure to open your awareness to the many components of mindful eating that you may be missing in your busy life.
