Join us for this live music & yoga collaboration between dear friends for the last class before Christmas at Forever Yoga! Jessica will guide you through an All Levels peaceful practice combining flowing movement to release stress, yin postures to deeply nourish and restorative poses to heal and refresh. There will be the optional offering of some aromatherapy with the use of essential oils as well.

Musician Christopher Foss will be providing a meditative soundscape for the class using acoustic and electronic sounds. Featured will be singing bowls, shakuhachi flute, and chant with some added electronic elements to create a unique sonic experience. You won't want to miss this!

 Brooklyn-based performing artist  Christopher Foss  plays the bassoon and shakuhachi in a wide array of musical genres. He has appeared professionally with orchestras and festival groups in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Miami, and Milan. Specializing in contemporary music, he has premiered works by over 50 living composers, including his own piece for bassoon, motion sensor, and laptop at the 2015 Atlantic Music Festival. He has toured internationally and recorded with the improvised music group In Transit, which crafts meditative sonic experiences at the intersection of Japanese traditional music, contemporary Classical music, and electronic music practices. Integral to his creative practice, he is a student of body and energy awareness practices such as Alexander Technique, yoga, meditation, astrology, and reiki.
