Sarah Haggerty, RYT-200 has practiced yoga, in one form or another, for over ten years. While working in a high pressure job, she began a daily yoga and meditation practice. This has had a profound impact on the trajectory of her life ever since. At the beginning, yoga was simply an exercise and supplement to running and weight lifting. Pranayama (breathing exercises) and proper alignment helped her physically and over time she realized yoga was helping all aspects of her life. Inspired by these changes, Sarah completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training at Lexington Power Yoga in 2017 and has been working with Jessica on a mentorship since September of 2018. Yoga has become much more than she thought possible after completing her training. Sarah has used her experiences as a launching point for continuing to learn about yoga, anatomy, and the power of the mind.The classes she teaches are focused on mindfulness and alignment. She is excited to share the amazing benefits of yoga with yogis of all experience levels.
