One of the most powerful and SIMPLE tools of yoga that can help YOU right now!
Mantra is one of the most powerful and most simple to use tools I've learned from my study of yoga. Spend a little time each day repeating a mantra and your life will transform. There's no doubt about it.
Why is this so? Well, whole books have been written about the subject, but the basic idea is that sound is powerful. Just think about when you happen to hear one of your favorite songs by chance in a restaurant or other public place. You probably have a hard time sitting still! Or maybe a song that was used at your wedding or a dear one's funeral is played. You can't help but be transported. It's a bit like that with Sanskrit Mantra.
Thomas Ashley-Farrand (Namadeva) describes it this way in his book Healing Mantras - "Mantras, or simple chants, are short phrases packed with energy and intention - specifically designed to generate powerful sound waves that promote healing, insight, creativity, and spiritual growth."
There are mantras for any number of life's challenges.
